| Drop C# (Half a step lower than Drop D): C#-G#-C#-F#-A#-D# This is also known as Drop Db (D-Flat): Db-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb Both tunings are exactly the same, but are just different ways to putting it. Tuning steps: 1. go to drop D (DADGBE) 2. hold your low D at 8 and make it sound like A (the next string), now your tuning is C#, A, D, G, B, E 3. starting for C#, hold it at 7 and make A sound like it. 4. tune the rest as you would standard. Now you have drop C#. Other way to tune to Drop C#: 1. tune to standard a half step down 2. tune it to drop D (whick will now be drop C#) |
